Statistical Sampling

Examine the fundamentals of statistical sampling including terminology and the theory behind sampling and understand how a basic random sample would be pulled. Discuss how a well pulled sample can be useful in health care fraud cases both in verifying an allegation and determining overpayments.

³Non-Member participants must occupy a professional position with a private for-profit or not-for-profit health care reimbursement organization, in a local, state or federal law enforcement, prosecutorial, a regulatory agency or in a professional disciplinary organization. Substitution
To request a substitution, you must provide WRITTEN NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTION to the NHCAA Institute 24 hours before the webinar is scheduled. Please e-mail the Registrar at training@nhcaa.org to request a substitution.

Cancellation
To cancel and obtain a full refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, you must provide WRITTEN NOTICE OF CANCELLATION to The NHCAA Institute 8 days before the webinar is scheduled. If you cancel in writing after that date, but before the program begins, you will receive a 50% refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after the program convenes.
