Health Care Fraud Investigator's Boot Camp - SOLD OUT
March 17 - 20
3.5 days | 24 CPEs
Level I
Substitution, Cancellation, and Deadline for Participant Roster: Tuesday, February 18.
Acquire an understanding of the core competencies necessary to combat health care fraud at our intense, 3 ½ day Boot Camp program. Begin by defining the scope of the health care fraud challenge and examining each step of the investigative process from detection and choosing an investigative strategy, to effective report writing and presenting your case to others in the unit.
Expert faculty will review skills, tools, and technologies critical to health care fraud investigations, discuss recognition of common schemes and teach clinical building block components (medical records, coding and terminology) vital to the detection of fraud, waste or abuse. Participants, working in groups, will synthesize these concepts by taking part in a hands-on case study woven throughout the program.
