- Investigative, Resolution and Reporting Process
- This course should serve as a “refresher” for more seasoned investigators.
- You do not need to be accepted to take the AHFI® Exam in order to participate in the Prep Course.
- The sessions were not designed to be shared or streamed with others.
- Each participant must be registered to attend in order to receive credit.

Registration closes at 10:00 am ET on January 27, 2026.Cancellation/Substitution
- All written notice of cancellations and substitutions should be sent via email to training@nhcaa.org.
- Cancellations must be received before the registration deadline to obtain a refund (minus the $50 administrative fee).
- For cancellations received after the registration deadline, no refund will be provided but a credit for a future training is available upon request.
- Substitutions received after the registration deadline will be assessed with a $50.00 administrative fee.

The AHFI® Prep Course consists of six on demand sessions that will be accessed through NHCAA Learn. You will have access to the program content (videos and handouts) from February 2 – 28.
Session videos require minimum watch times, so you will need to set aside approximately 6.5 hours to complete the program. View the sessions at your own pace and as many times as you’d like during the month.
To earn credit, participants need to watch each session and submit the program evaluation by February 28.

Participants will earn six (7) Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours which are applicable to the training requirements for the Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator (AHFI®) designation. Only those who are registered to attend and watch each available session will be eligible to receive credit. No partial credit will be awarded.
